I had about $32,000 of debt. Now it’s about down to $17,000. $12,000 of it was on credit cards, which I just bounced around 0% interest credit cards. At least I was smart about that debt. Now all that remains is this $17,800. Which I think I can take care of in a year and a half to two years. I attained this debt for trying to make a career for myself as a pilot. I only finished so much of the training before my lender cut me off. I should have just saved the money to do this training. Instead I’m delivering pizzas to pay it off. Delivering pizzas isn’t such a terrible living, but I’d rather be flying.

Thanks for your story. I look forward to being debt free myself… without a mortgage. So not even “good” debt. I checked my credit score after I paid the credit card off. Is 775. I wonder what it will be after I pay the rest of this off. Not like it will matter much I don’t intend on taking out loans that will take than more than a year or so to pay off anyhow ever again. So I guess that interest rate would matter a bit, but still.

    Good Day!
